“Detrumpez-vous” is a new mobile app developed by a French computer engineer to scan food products to check if the brand is owned by an American company or if it belongs to an American group.

How does it work?

• Barcode Scanning: User scans the product’s barcode to retrieve its unique number.
• API Requests: The application queries external APIs to get product details, including name and brand.
• Blacklist Check: The retrieved brand name is compared against a blacklist.
